Our financing options help producers maximize your operating potential. We often are a trusted secondary lender to cattle producers, working in partnership with your bank to provide operating funds at an affordable rate.
Designed for farmer-feeders who either retain ownership of home-raised calves or purchase cattle for finishing on-site. We provide 100% of the fair market value to eligible applicants to cover the cost of purchased cattle or home-raised calves. All proceeds from selling cattle will be remitted to Producers Livestock and applied to your loan balance. Any net funds will be issued to you.
Designed for producers who utilize custom feedlots. Receive financing for the cattle you purchase, and any associated feed costs. A $300/head equity payment is required. The feeder must be approved by Producers Livestock and all proceeds from selling cattle will be remitted to Producers Livestock and applied to your loan balance. Any net funds will be issued to you.
Our hog financing and loan options help hog farmers maximize your operating potential. We work in partnership with your bank as a secondary lender to provide operating funds at an affordable rate.
Designed for producers who either retain ownership or purchased weaned hogs to feed on-site. Eligible applicants must have facilities, staff and resources to care for and feed the pigs until they are sold. Producers Livestock may also provide an advance of up to 70% of the value of finished hogs to cover feed costs, provided there is a hedge or packer contract in place.
Designed for producers or investors who utilize contract growers to raise and finish hogs off-site. The Investor Program provides funding for 100% of the purchase cost of weaned hogs and an advance of up to 70% of the finished hog value, if the necessary requirements are met. Pigs purchased with this funding may not be commingled with pigs financed by another institution.
